Speaker Taylor shows 41 contributions made through 2000 with a total of $16,627.50 contributed. The smallest contribution was $77.50 while the largest one was $1,500.00. 78% of the contributions for Speaker Taylor ($13,077.50) were from organizations as opposed to individuals with more than a third of those ($4950) coming from outside of Maryland.
Notice that the large contributor is the Baltimore Orioles which is owned by Peter Angelos who claims $1.1 billion in fees for the tobacco settlement lawsuit (25% of the settlement).
