Senators are color coded according to their support for RKBA.  Red indicates support for gun control and so Opposes RKBA.  In some cases, the legislator has no history or published position on gun control. In those cases, the legislator is ranked as Not Evaluated or Not Evaluated if there are reasons to suspect the Delegate opposes RKBA.  Delegates are listed in order of their districts as defined for the 2002 plan.  Direct telephone number for senators are given in the State Phonebook. Also, the toll free number 1-800-492-7122 may be used or switch board numbers 410-841-3000 and 301-858-3000 .

You may create a report (requires a password) on this web site concerning a senator by clicking the "R" to the right of his name and you may view (does not require a password) the information collected there by the same action.  Information provided to this forum must be accurate and the source of all information must be documented.

Anonymous reports are not tolerated.  Also, purple prose should be avoided (in the words of Joe Friday -- "just the facts").  We reserve the right to purge all material not conforming to these regulations.

Voting Record

Support for RKBA by senators previously elected (including any record as a delegate) was evaluated from the voting record on SB 211 as published in Washington Times on 4/5/00.  Also considered are votes by Senators on SB211 (see that linked document), Amendments to SB211, sponsorship of other Anti-RKBA legislation during the 2001, 2000 and 1996 legislative sessions and a vote to petition SB234, a pro-RKBA right to carry bill, under rule 43.

For newly elected senators, their support for RKBA was evaluated by their public positions in the election including response to a MCRKBA questionaire or their response to a questionaire from the gun grabbing organization MAHA.
