557 contributions made with a total of $79,560.31 contributed. The smallest contribution was $1.00 while the largest one was $3,800.00 by the end of 2000. Almost two-thirds of the contributions ($51,405) were made by organizations and two of the organizations PGA and Artemis Properties, Inc. are owned by Peter Angelos who expects to collect $1.1 billion from the tobacco settlement. Sen. Ferguson helped Angelos win that case when he abandoned the filibuster the Republicans were making against the bill that made that payout possible.
