HB 0763 (SB 0436) - Transportation Trust Fund - Bicycle Ways and Sidewalks

Sponsor/Status: Delegate William A. Bronrott (D-Montgomery Co.), et al. HB 0763 was assigned to the House Ways & Means Committee. Similar legislation (SB 0436) was introduced in the House.

Purpose: This legislation would require, in each fiscal year, that 3% of the funds in the Transportation Trust Fund be dedicated for the construction and maintenance of bicycle ways and sidewalks.

Final Disposition: HB 0763 received an unfavorable report from the House Ways & Means Committee.
